VOWSonline.ca provides its visitors with an array of online content. This content is either original content written by staff writers, provided by freelance writers or comes from our subscribed editorial services. Content may also be provided from this site as shared content from third-party sources like press releases, blogs and websites.  If you are planning to link/share/forward/reproduce content from VOWSonline.ca all copyright information, links, author bylines must remain intact. VOWSonline.ca does not assume responsibility if you are contacted by the author of the content and asked to remove from your website/blog/ezine as certain content may have been contracted for exclusive appearances within VOWS (print edition) and/or VOWSonline.ca. Real Wedding/Engagement Stories

VOWS and VOWSonline.ca publish real wedding stories and real engagement stories in both the print and online edition. Photos are contributed by Photographers and the couples. Written permission from all parties must be received in order for L&T to publish. Couples considering sending in their wedding photos for publishing should consult their contract with their photographer for all copyright information.

Every time you visit our site, our servers log your visit by making a record of your IP Address and the type of Browser you are using. It tells us what part of the world you are viewing from and the various pages that you visit within the site. VOWSonline.ca uses Google Analytics to keep track of visitor information.

Forms

There are an increasing number of web programs that can "troll" the internet and collect email addresses from web pages when companies post their contact information. In order to reduce the amount of spam email we receive we have implemented a contact form. This form requires you to put your email address in. The purpose for this is so that we have an email address to respond to. We do not hold on to, save or archive any incoming emails. Email addresses are kept strictly confidential! We do not sell, redistribute or share email addresses that come to us in any format.

Potential advertisers requesting media kits are asked to fill in a form. They will be asked to provide us with a contact name, email address and or telephone number to discuss the possibility of advertising within the publication Life & Times or sister newspapers. We do not hold on to, save or archive any incoming emails and telephone numbers for any purpose other than to arrange for advertisement placements.

Login/Member Access

VOWSonline.ca has a member area that you will be required to sign up for if you wish to access additional areas within the website. These areas/additional features may include, but are not limited to: planning tools, countdown calculator and article submissions.

We do not sell ANY personal information obtain in opt-in lists to third parties.

Directory Listings/Bridal Show Listings

VOWSonline.ca has two public areas that house bridal vendor and trade show information. Vendors and tradeshow hosts are encouraged to submit their details using our "submit" forms. All submissions will be verified and approved before going live on our site. Bridal show details will expire 365 or the day after the event (whichever comes first) from the system.

Submit an Article

Bridal vendors and writers are invited to submit wedding related content to VOWSonline.ca for publishing. All articles received will be edited and proofed prior to publication. Acceptance of the article does not necessarily mean that it will appear online or in print. Publisher reserves the right to publish content that is received. Full byline credit and weblinks are provided to the author should Publisher include online or in print edition.  The Publisher does not claim exclusive rights to your contributed content and recognizes it may appear in syndication elsewhere in print and on the web. Author however, guarantees that all content is theirs to contribute and does not violate any third-party copyrights. The Publisher assumes no responsbility for potential copyright infringement from contributed content. If you feel your prorpietary content has been violated please contact the Publisher immediately to have materials removed from this website.

Third Party

VOWSonline.ca will be placing advertisements throughout the website that link to the advertiser's website. The Publisher cannot be held responsible for the policies of these companies and urge you to exercise caution when providing your personal details to any company over the internet.
